Here's a few questions and answers that may be helpful to you!


Q: Which bow style is best suited for my little one?

A:

  • Reversible alligator clip with no-slip grip: This finish is more suitable to hold thicker hair. Please note, in order to provide reverse option, the clips are not permanently attached. Be mindful of this with smaller kiddos!

  • Nylon headband: This finish is very soft and delicate. It is typically more suitable for newborns or girls with finer hair.

  • Wrap Headband: These headbands offer a thicker and stretchier fit. Sizing can be adjusted slightly due to stretch nature of fabric.

Q: How should I clean the bows?

A: It is best to spot clean only. If you decide to machine wash, make sure to remove alligator clip prior to washing.

Q: Are all bows exactly the same size/shape/etc?

A: Each bow is handmade, therefore unique with slight variances in measurement, and knot size. However, all bows are checked for quality prior to shipping.

Q: Can I pick the orientation of the bow?

A: The bows are designed so you don't need to pick an orientation when you order! The alligator clip can easily be slipped in and out so that you can swap it around, if needed, depending on which side of the head you would like the bow to be worn.

Q: What if my wrap headband comes untied, or I would like to adjust the width?

Q: How should I clean my Muslin baby blanket?

A: Machine wash cold with like colors. Do not bleach. Hang or lay flat to air dry and avoid Velcro, zippers, or any other hardware that may snag.

  • Hand wash for best results.

Q: Shipping and Returns?

A: Shipping: All orders are  typically processed and transferred to  USPS within 2-3 business days of purchase (though I ask for a little extra time during holiday seasons!) Prior to checking out, please verify that all billing and shipping information is accurate, as an incorrect address may significantly delay your order.

Returns/Exchanges: Due to the fact that each item is hand-crafted, I am currently not accepting returns or exchanges. However, I stand by my products and want every customer to be 100% satisfied. Therefore, if there is an issue with your order and Helvey Handmade is at fault, please contact me and I will work hard to make sure the issue is resolved to your satisfaction!
