The Abigail Apron
Although I enjoy all of my sewing and crafting ventures, this project in particular will always hold a special place in my heart.

In October of 2021, our darling Abigail opened her eyes for the first time in the presence of Jesus. It goes without saying that our family was completely shocked and immensely saddened. It is by His grace alone that we have been able to grieve well, and will continue to use her life as a part of our testimony to bring Him glory.
Although our little Price was a bit too young to comprehend what happened, our sweet Tillie learned that her sister died, and is now in heaven with Jesus forever. This fact does not bring her overwhelming sadness, but rather, complete joy and excitement. Oh, how we are learning the true meaning of child-like faith.
From time to time, Tillie will comment or ask questions about our sweet Abigail. Although it has been hard at times to navigate some of these conversations, it delights my heart to hear her talk about her sister.
Tillie loves to help me cook, and in the kitchen is where we have some of our most memorable “girl talk” time. A few months after we lost Abigail, we were making chocolate chip cookies, and out of the blue she said, “I can’t wait to get to heaven and bake with Abigail!”
Y’all, my mama heart!
So, that’s when I had the idea for this project. The Abigail Apron.
My hope is that this apron will be used to help create lasting memories with your littles. Whether it be baking, crafting, or just playing “pretend kitchen”, this sweet apron is truly a labor of love for your littles to enjoy!
